For example a broiler chicken will have a very different ration than an adult pleasure horse. No matter how precise a ration is made the nutrients in the ration will never be completely utilized. This means that nutrients will pass from the animal within urine or feces, commonly referred to as manure. Manure often contains nutrients besides those contained in animal waste, such as animal bedding material, uneaten feed or water. These manure ‘ingredients’ of feces, bedding and waste feed all contain organic material (or organic molecules) making manure a great organic matter source that improves the organic matter and crop producing ability of a soil.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
