Director, Evelyne Freiermuth - Policy & Research Manager) defines the economic  contribution of travel & tourism, then specifically discusses travel & tourism’s contribution  to GDP and employment, visitor exports and investment. Apart from that, the researchers  delineates the different components of travel & tourism such as leisure spending, business  spending, domestic spending, foreign visitor spending, direct, induced and indirect spending  and each of their impacts on the overall welfare of tourism sector by analysing the changes in their behaviours. Furthermore, real growth and long term growth in the mentioned sector are  evaluated with the tables of estimates and forecasts. Finally, the economic impact reports of  different regions, sub-regions and countries are provided. A policy report by CESD (Centre for Economic and Social Development) on tourism  sector in Azerbaijan is one of the beneficial sources as well. This report was prepared by  Vugar Bayramov, Leyla Aliyeva, Xalid Mikayilov and indicated Azerbaijan’s place and  competitive capacity on tourism in the region, highlights the major problems in the sector, in  addition with the situation of tourism in the regions. The report was finalized by  recommendations on the strategies how tourism can be improved. Kazakhstan The research of Karkinbaeva,  М ukhambetova and Turekulova that has been  conducted in 2015 is dedicated to tourism industry of Kazakhstan and is based on an analysis  of official statistics and complemented with the results of a survey of managers of tourist  companies and individual entrepreneurs of Astana. The main statistical variables used in  paper are inbound; outbound and domestic tourism. Regardless of the fact that the paper does
