Procedures for Data Analysis Shortly following the gathering of data, all possible samples will be gathered and be observed in depth. The Data Analysis follows the goal of streamlining the collected information in order to create viable conjectures that may lead to the answer to the problem stated in earlier divisions of the research paper. In the analysis, the researchers will review the dialogue recorded in a Focused Group Discussion with the students regarding their view on LGBT and other related topics in which they would have been able to disclose information that may not be known to non-peers in the topic as well as the results of a survey held at the same time period which touches upon very similar topics and subjects using thematic analysis. It was chosen as the method in which data will be analyzed due to its qualitative nature matching criteria with the research topic. Its flow and ideals permit an in-depth overview of the information samples gathered from the Focused Group Discussion and preliminary survey. The information disclosed in the Focused Group Discussion and the preliminary survey will likely be relatively simple to organize and segregate under the overall set of themes that will be identified throughout the analysis. Trends and recurring themes found in both data sources will be observed and noted. After this, the data will be assessed in order to gain previously unknown knowledge leading to new material for further theories to be developed.
