Retaining good employees is an issue in every industry, but with long hours and emotionally draining work, retaining healthcare workers has its own special challenges [ CITATION Bar14 \l 1033 ]. Staff retention can be reduces through culture, training and engagement. Managing early interactions with new employees and following up frequently to ensure they understand the culture of the organization is key. Providing adequate and appropriate training to ensure success to ensure that employees can see where they can go within the organization and what path they need to follow to get to their goals. Finally, reviewing employee engagement surveys and listening to what is being said will give the employees a voice and improve their engagement. There will always be employees who feel they don’t have what it takes to stay in a high-pressure job in healthcare, but if organizations pay attention to factors such as culture, training and engagement, they may be able to reduce turnover and improve experiences for both employees and patients [ CITATION Bar14 \l 1033 ].Training ComplianceTraining compliance of healthcare staff can be challenging. Staff members must meet therequirements of their daily job and still find time to attend training and educational offering. Supplying the staff with increased access to training through the use of online modules will increase the availability of the training and help meet the needs of the department. Offering live training and educational sessions throughout the day during different shifts will also increase access to the training. Without continued investment in healthcare professionals' education, the vision of high quality, guideline-driven, evidence-based health care will never come to fruition[ CITATION Fle07 \l 1033 ].
