UNITED STATESRegional CulturalThe United States is the third-largest country in the world with a population of morethan 325 million. The population of the United States was built on immigrationfrom other countries and every 33 seconds has a new immigrant moves to thecountry. Hence, the UnitedStates is one of the most culturally diverse countries in theworld. The United States is sometimes described as a "melting pot" in which differentcultures have contributed their own distinct "flavours" to American culture.Regional foods inthe United States are complex and often difficult to identify since the United States is acountry of immigrants and every ethnic group retains customs, festivals, and eating traditionswith great pride. Today, several foods are commonly identified as American, such ashamburgers, hot dogs, potato chips, macaroni and cheese, and meatloaf. "As American asapple pie" has come to mean something that is authentically American[ CITATION Kim17 \l1033 ].DemographicSouthern Californiais the largest and the most distinctive region, and its specialculture has attracted large numbers of immigrants to the state. Similar trends are visible insouthernFlorida; in Texas, whose mystique has captured the national imagination; and to acertain degree in the more ebullient regions of New MexicoandArizonaas well. At themetropolitan level, it is difficult to believe that such distinctive cities as San Francisco, LasVegas, Dallas, Tucson and Seattlehave become like all other American cities. A detailedexamination, however, would show significant if sometimes subtle interregional differences14
in terms of language, religion, diet, folklore, folk architecture and handicrafts, politicalbehaviour, social etiquette, and some other cultural categories[ CITATION Edw20 \l 17417 ].PsychographicSince our main ingredient is durian, so we believe that for the starter, the people thatwill buy our product is the person that has “high-belief-inner-self”. This is because the westpeople are not familiar with durian but the people who brave enough to try new things, theywill but our product to try it. We also know that American people love to try new things, which means that they enjoy trying any type of weird taste food or even any activities thatthey have not tried yet.BehaviouralThe main insights that shaping American consumer behavioural are:1. Health considerations are increasingly important- Consumers are committed to healthier lifestyles and make their dairy purchases based onperceptions of health, primarily around “all natural,” organic, and low-sugar options.2. Transparency is expected- More than two-thirds of consumers want to know more about ingredients, sourcing, andmanufacturing processes when they are considering dairy purchases.
