beauty could be something as simple as donating change to a homeless man on the street, or it could be teaching another person an important lesson. Socrates believed beauty should be determined by its usefulness rather than appearance, and knowledge and virtue are elements of true beauty. He would consider Albert Einstein who had grey hair and a moustache to be more beautiful than Jason Shaw who is a muscular male model, because Einstein was more useful to the world through his knowledge of science.
