Example of a Best Practice In the clinical setting, the best practice for providing feedback to students is by means of oral communication methods. Oral communication methods involve clinical conferences such as post-conferences. The post-conference is held at the end of the clinical day between faculty and students. As a nursing instructor/clinical coordinator, the students are very engaged and share their experiences with one another. Students are quizzed regarding their patients during this time as well. There are very valuable lessons learned, and feedback is provided at post conference to each student.
