go to the beach, pool, park or just sit at home and play together. I have couple reasons why I am taking this course. First, I need to complete certain number of general education courses in order to get transferred to the University and second, I am interesting to improve my knowledge about Women health and issues that modern women have in our nowadays life. "You know what makes you feel good, you know when you don't feel well. Understanding your body is key," says Mark, senior medical adviser for the Office on Women's Health at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. to know and learn about Women health in order to protect myself and live healthy life. Since women experience unique health care challenges and are more likely to be diagnosed with certain diseases than men, I think that it is essential for each woman to be educated and understand an importance of health. Chronic diseases and conditions—such as heart disease, cancer and diabetes—are the leading causes of death for women. Nearly half of adults have a chronic illness, and half of those have two or more chronic conditions. Thirty-eight percent of women suffer from one or more chronic diseases, compared to 30 percent of men. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) , 75 percent of all U.S. health care dollars treat people with chronic conditions. Managing chronic disease is often difficult for the uninsured, and women are more likely to lack insurance. I as a woman, often spend so much time helping others, working full time, having and taking care about children and family, that I don't take time for myself. By staying on top of my health and making positive changes that can last a lifetime, I am making an investment in my future. Furthermore, investing more time in myself means I am better able to look after the ones I love and care about. So it is time to put myself first and start a serious conversation about women’s health. Finally, taking this course is a perfect chance to take time to focus on my knowledge about good health.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
