A fter contract award, the Program Manager and Contracting Officer are ve ry engaged to ensure contract compliance and will routinely engage w ith the contractor throughout the performance period of the contract . In an IDIQ contract like this one, there will be a lot of requirements going through the entire acquisition planning process all ov er again, but w ith a single award IDIQ the delive ry orders will be negotiated individually in accordance w ith the terms and conditions of the basic contract . This means the small business utilization requirements will need to be negotiated per delive ry order too, so you may be quite busy along w ith the rest of the team as a result of negotiating and awarding new delive ry orders . There are also Post Award acti vities that may impact small businesses such as pay ment issues or other small business issues that may arise. Monitoring small business participation and subcontracting related requirements and documenting contractor performance assessments are Post Award small business acti vities for the Contracting Officer and Program Manager.
