There were gun laws way back when the United States initially progressed toward becoming. The column expressed, “that no man should sell or supply any Indians any piece, shot, or powder, or any other arms offensive or defensive, upon pain of being held a conspirator to the colony. If caught, once the facts reveal the truth, they are hung, without all reclamation” (Spitzer,2017, para. 6). With this being one of the first many laws it shows how significant gun control and the regulations around it were then and still are at the moment. This article will provide a clear picture of our rights as U.S Citizens and will be the first step in resolving if the laws should or should not be changed. C.
