It is hard to maintain a consistent behavior, and in my case the biggest barrier is the rest. Taking in account college, football, and work, it makes some days look like a marathon. And the stress related to all these factors is simply unavoidable. Sometimes, my physical health is so poor that it directly affects my emotional, spiritual, and social health. And there is no easy way to control your behavior when one of these four factors is unstable. It affects directly or indirectly one of the other ones, if not all of them. Unit 2 Assignment 3 treat yourself it is a good way to reward yourself and not lose path of your purpose. And also knowing that mistakes will happen, it is essential to get back in your path and follow your purpose as soon as possible. Most of the times, a lack of purpose makes people try to escape their reality and then appeal to something that is not healthy. It is possible to control the process of being healthy, but never the outcome. And that does not mean that a bad outcome is a lack of effort, sometimes life happens and as said by Sylvester Stallone “You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life.” There is no such thing as a shortcut to being healthy. There is discipline, competency, consistency, and knowledge. Those principles must be followed and go hand in hand to establish the best scenario possible to be healthy. It is indeed necessary to acknowledge yourself and your mistakes, and work on these to avoid them or make them minimal as possible. As said before, when a mistake happens, it is a must to get back on path, if necessary, take a step back to then go two steps forward. But always look forward, because it does not matter how “unhealthy” a person was in the past, there is always work to be done and areas to improve. And that is what
