Overview of the treatment process: The client Mr. John Smith has been in my observance two times a week over the course of four months, in which during his time with me has created a restorative coalition using behavioral treatment techniques and active communication skills. The behavioral therapy technique is for parents who at their wits end and the therapy provides a consistent way for John and his wife to manage behavior problems and offer them a chance to help their son Xavier develop and gain the developmental skills he needs to regulate his own behavior. However, during the initial interview, it can be observed the client has become frustrated with his son’s behavioral problems and his wife’s inability to recognize that thee son is having these episodes which is destroying their family as all communication is lost. During the next interview, the client recapitulated a few of his problems and rummaged on and on about his concerns and fears of being an insufficient father or role model to his son. At this time.
