prices. After a customer has entered an agreement to have work completed, the owner will purchase parts and tools required to complete this job on credit. All receipts are saved so that they can be entered into a computer. At the end of each job, the invoices, parts and tools receipts are than given to be entered by the bookkeeper, which happens to be me in this company. It is my job to correctly match up each purchase to each job expense that is entered into the computer I use to keep track of all cash flow. I record when any purchases are made for the shop or for a customer, categorize them, and then enter their information into their customer files. I must also track all the times that the shop gets paid for a job. Since there is only one person working here, it is easy to keep track of all the money that is being used. The way it usually works is that after a job has been done and paid in full, all the information is stored in a folder, which means it needs to be entered into the computer as a finalized job. I take the folder and print out a bank statement for the period of the job. Checking

and matching up purchases with the statements to see if it was paid with a credit card, debit card, or if cash was withdrawn to pay for anything. The system I currently use to track all the financial transactions is the Intuit Quickbooks Pro 2009 edition. This is where I store all the customer information, all the debits and credits
