The most important factor is that the level of unemployment in the country is extremely low which makes it less prone to competition and corruption (Osborne, 2012). Another country that is preferred for expansion and provides great working opportunity for expatriates is Spain as the weather remains beautiful and temperature is constant. It is easier for the residents of European countries to travel to Spain as they do not require any visa and the skilled workforce is always available such as doctors, engineers, customer service professionals etc. (Osborne, 2012). Three criteria that would be considered which employees to send abroad There are three main factors to consider when deciding upon which employees to send as expatriates. The skill set of employees must match the job requirement and most importantly the employees must be willing to work internationally. The second criteria to consider is that an employee personality and pressure handling skills should match the international job requirements as international job requires a change in work ethics and cultural shift which is not easy for employees to handle. International assignments require lots of patience and stamina to handle the pressure and employees must be considered accordingly, who are considered as an option of expatriate (John, 2005). The third factor to consider is the health updates of an employee who is being planned to send as an expatriate as he will be required to handle lots of stress, adapt to the change in

Incentives that should be used to encourage employees to become expatriate When an organization sends expatriates to work in another country they are given their regular salaries with monetary benefits for the case of travelling and living apart from their own country. These benefits may include home rent, health care, insurance, cover their child’s education and family expenses and additional allowances as well. There are many companies that send an expatriate and fully provide them and their family with insurance that cover their life insurance, health insurance and other expenses (Price, 2012). Recommend strategy to ensure that Board of Director is committed to expansion One main strategy to ensure that Board of Directors is committed to an expansion is to enter into a formal agreement with them so that they integrate their expansion plans with the companies that are willing to invest - local or international. This will also require discussing the plans with local government agencies. All the final details must be well documented and presented to both the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors so that they properly implement the expansion plans.
