The hospital may use a list as sampling frame as the hospital has the records of every patients and recruit 200 previous patients as the sample size. The hospital may identify the target population through telephone book or email address. The hospital may use stratified sampling as sampling technique to conduct the research due to the large population of patients. Stratified sampling consists of strata that is mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive in which the hospital can select the sample based on the patients’ nationality. This is because there are many patients that come from different regions which may affect their overall satisfaction. Stratified sampling make two groups, speak English and don’t speak English then only choose the sample from the strata that don’t speak English.
