do really well and get an A on them and ultimately the class. I believe that building cohesiveness created a positive emotional tone that would guide our group to its successful endeavors. With having a positive group climate, we were able to get tasks accomplished most efficiently, with only the needed effort, and having a pleasurable experience doing so. When we were assigned our groups in the beginning, I was a little hesitant. I normally don’t like working in groups, because you have to rely and be dependent upon other people to get things done in a timely and efficient manner. I never liked having to depend on anyone because usually it is just one let down after another. Most people only like to work on their time, or have trouble cooperating with others. However, working with these other four individuals, proved my notion of how working in a group was pointless, wrong. I can honestly say that all four of these individuals put their effort into their work and we had no problems communicating.

We knew that without a foundation of an open line of communication, it would be hard to achieve anything. I believe that our group was really successful, because even if we don’t get the goals we set out to achieve, we worked really well together and I don’t often find that in too many groups. I was happy to be assigned to these four individuals who showed me what it meant to be an efficient and hardworking group.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
