supplies. For example, medical drones can deliver tourniquets and other hemostatic supplies to people injured in mass shooting; or antivenin for snake bites, and EpiPen for anaphylaxis. However, regulations concerning use of medical drones might take additional time before they can be used for medical purposes (Tran, 2016). Technology is advancing and as we move to a more interactive environment there are opportunities to use networking to link doctors and patients. Personal health records are going digital giving doctors and patients easy access to their health information. This can lead to greater health results by being able to communicate the need for preventative screening and the sharing of information real time. The Pakistan Medical Journal notes this can improve patient tracking, keep people up to date with their own medical information and encourage interaction between doctors and patients with similar health problems (Bajwa, 2014). The sharing of information via social media has led to better communication between families, friends and allowed for the sharing of information with many people simultaneously. This can be done with the healthcare environment connecting patients and doctors in an environment where data can be stored received and reviewed electronically from anywhere in the world the same way other information is now transmitted for other aspects of life. One such service is offered by WebMD which offers to store relevant medical data securely and gives the option of sharing medical data with authorized providers as well as store data from multiple providers giving you a more complete look at your health and helps avoid duplication of procedures and medications (WebMD, 2017). This will lead to a more efficient

Networking with other patients is a feature thatcould easily be added to help patients communicate more effectively and share useful information about their health and outcomes. ConclusionThe implementation of EHR and other technologies over time will change the way healthcare providers fundamentally operate. With the new technology, the rules governing this new information will also update or change requiring coordination between hospital staff and theexperts in providing this information. New technology developed for medical purposes as well asthose developed for other things that can be adapted to the medical environment will result in new opportunities to reach patients and respond the disasters in new ways. The result will be a more efficient and safer hospital environment with better patient care outcomes.
