have a "personal philosophy"? If so, how do you think it relates to the period of history in which you live? Kamo no Chômei describes that time he lives in as unhappy and writes about all the natural disasters that occur during a part of his life. I think that since the era he lived in was going through difficult times and constant unhappiness, he had learned to turn his back to the world and all the unhappiness that came with it and live the life that he wanted. He decided that he did not need to live in such a disturbing and disastrous state and live how he wants to. I do not have my own personal philosophy but I do continue to

live my life and create my own philosophy with my experiences and lessons in my life. 3. How does Kamo no Chômei find peace in a world of hardship? He finds peace by deciding to turn his back on the world and become a priest. He creates his own hut and lives in his own world with no fear or hatred. As his days continued to pass, he left his life in the hands of heaven and did not ask for anything at all. 4. What adjectives would you use to describe Kamo no Chômei's life once he has renounced the world? What gives him pleasure? How do you think this might be different from his former life? I would describe his life to be peaceful but lonely since he had left the world in away. He was able to be happy not being able to worry about others or living in a world with greed and hate because he did not ask for anything and he had nothing to hate. He lived the rest of his life in peace and followed what he wanted to follow and gave the rest of his life to the hands of the heavens.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
