2nd Case Law Related Review: Lester v. Albers Super Markets, Inc. A case for False Imprisonment, sets the stage for the plaintiff Ms. Lester was carrying a bag of goods purchased at one store and entered into another store with the bag for purchase. Ms. Lester was approached and stopped by the defendant when she decided to leave the store to catch their bus, while the defendant assumed that Ms. Lester was leaving the store with a bag of unpurchased items, furthermore the bag was inspected by the defendant, with no notice of wrongful doing by Ms. Lester was set free with disgrace, among witnesses (Mayer, et al., n.d.) (Mayer, et al., n.d.) (Section 7.5, Lester v. Albers Super Markets, Inc: para 1). For illegality arises a proof of imprisonment must be available in this case, additionally, if there was no restraint and Ms. Lester went along with the bag inspection willfully then the imprisonment claim cannot stand against the defendant Mr. Krause, which lead to the reversal in appeal favoring Mr. Krause (Mayer, et al., n.d.) (Section 7.5, Lester v. Albers Super Markets, Inc: para 2-4 ). Intellectual Property Rights and the Google Approach Another difficulty in the business operations of Google is the identification of intellectual property rights. Intellectual property is identified, with the human mindset on valued assets that a company provides and also can identify the company from which these assets are created to include copyright, patents, and trademarks (Mayer, et al., n.d.) (Chapter 32, para 1). Within the EU, Google offers Google News as a means to provide relevant news resources based on search criteria (Berhsidsky, 2019). In some instances of utilizing copyrighted news material provided in the EU region, which has an effect on internet news search traffic for the minor news resources, but not so much for the more mainstream (Berhsidsky, 2019). Yet even with the ability of Google to pay publishers to maintain its news activities, Google continues to position its influence as a news source, but such actions to influence do not hold much weight as most news consumers will go where there able to find the news they desire, even if the medians are not associated with Google (Berhsidsky, 2019). Even though Google has the firepower and legislation to fight off claims of intellectual property right violations such as copyrights, the question that comes to mind is what is the legal rights for such violations all together? As more entities become violated, Google will need to have the necessary substantiated legal rights to conduct their
