Christianity influence a person's thinking and behavior? Seeking truth discusses some benefits of being a Christian that spoke on a personal level, including the ability to ask for reconciliation from God. Once reconciliation happens then God can give us forgiveness for the wrong doings and sins that we have committed and wipe our slate clean from all blemishes. After being forgiven, God gives us the freedom “we need from a troubled conscience, freedom from wrong thought and actions against God and against our fellow man.” (Seeking Truth, 2018). Jesus Christ during his time alive spent more time with sinners then the ‘sinless’ and this was to bring them to God and show them that anyone is worthy 3
and not far gone enough to be reconciled, forgiven and granted freedom for a new life to follow God. Those benefits continue to follow in these modern times, as so many people come to know God from inside of prisons when they need a new direction in life so desperately.
