b. Vocals When an artist has a great set of “pipes,” it increases people’s enjoyment of the artists’ music. When someone can belt out a tune and shake the rafter with just their voice, this creates a shock and awe effect where people are immersed in someone’s voice. For example, Chris Stapleton is my go to for a country music artist that can move an audience because of his voice. A perfect example of this is his song, “Fire Away” on the album, Traveler, where this man belts out a tune like nothing I’ve ever heard with a subtle blue- grass feel to it while still maintaining the correct, desired sound. He communicates his message to his audience through his voice and has been known to bring people to tears; i.e. me. 2.How do country artists use their backstory or their autobiography to communicate that they are “legitimately country”? Can you cite an example from a media source?
