is that Dylan managed to not only write a book about his life on the road, he manages to put his soul into those pages. From the initial page, you can just smell the cigarettes littering the air, and hear the symphonic chirping of his pencil stroking onto his probably gin-soaked journal. Scribbling down each individual word he methodically spews onto the page. You can just feel him sitting there wearing his sunglasses and scratching his head vigorously as he writes, questioning himself all the while. Even accomplished memoir authors and novelists rarely put themselves so deeply into their respective work without years of practice and training. To the point of feeling that they left a piece of themselves permanently within the pages. Dylan never needed to actually stick a middle finger up to the world, all he ever had to do was write about it, and the problem would just have to middle finger itself and look on dumb founded with the sheer genius that one man actually has in his system. Chronicles shows the true faces of both Robert Zimmerman and Bob Dylan. Closing this 3

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
