Project Brief - <Project Name> Background Page 11 of 31 Department of Human Services Confidential and Copyright Version: 2.2 C:\DOCUME~1\xgoh0705\LOCALS~1\Temp\notes1A552D\FS CRISSP Project Brief Final.doc Save Date: 25 Aug 2010 o the functionality in IRIS which users value (and CRISSP for pilot CSOs) and ensures it is available in CRISSP; o functionality which is essential to maintaining best practice in service delivery and client information recording, in line with business practice and reporting requirements is developed; o the opportunity to enhance existing IRIS and CRISSP functionality for users to ensure information is captured as a result of case practice rather than requiring the need for users to enter data for the sake of data but maintains the ability for the system to be used for data reporting only if required; Key Success Factor 5: Business practice mapping and business requirements for the CRISSP for Family Services and Child FIRST functionality Key Success Factor 6: Functional and Technical Design and System Build to be undertaken post consultation with the sector Component Five : To ensure IRIS reporting requirements are able to be maintained both in the transition for historical recording purposes and ongoing once CRISSP is rolled out: o replicating all required reporting fields, codes and business rules which exist in IRIS into CRISSP; o developing CRISSP through the Corporate Reporting Tool (CRT) which meet current IRIS reports accessed by CSOs and maintains the statewide quarterly extract requirements; o provides additional user reports as specified by Family Services providers Key Success Factor 7: Data to be migrated successfully from IRIS to CRISSP to ensure data continuity Component Six: To undertake the process of developing specific CRISSP Family Services case type “Case Management” components with those CSO who choose to utilise CRISSP for this purpose (CRISSP IFS01 Version 2): o functionality which is essential to maintaining best practice in service delivery and client information recording in line with business practice requirements and reporting requirements continues to be developed; o address the needs of the sector in terms of Family Services and Child FIRST case management requirements within CRISSP such as Child & Family Action Plan & Best Interests Principles Documents; o Assist uses in undertaking business processes which are aligned with departmental policy and legislative changes.
