Key Business Goals Coca-Cola has introduced many campaign goals in the past 100 years. The main goals for the company are global recognition and for ethical responsibility. Coke’s e commerce agenda consists of reaching consumers across the globe by placing a beverage within arms reach of 6

Another goal is to give back as much as they take in. They divide the commitment into three parts of focus; women, water, and wellbeing. Five by twenty is the drive to empowering five million women business owners by the year 2020. The company aims to maximize profits while maintaining long term growth in the market. The mission statement refers to the company that seeks to refresh the world, inspire moments of optimism and happiness. According to the CEO “the company produces and sells the beverage bases, concentrates, and the syrups to the bottling operators who manufacture, packages, and distribute the finished product to the vending partners and retailers who then again sell the products to the consumers.” (The Coca Cola Company 2015). IT Strategy to Support Goals of the Organization Service The organization is a complete beverage company offering over 500 brands in more than 200 countries and territories. In addition to the company’s Coca-Cola brands, they also include “some of the world’s most valuable beverage brands, such as Ades, a soy-based beverage, Ayataka green tea, Dasani waters, Del Valle juices, nectars, Fanta, Georgia coffee, Gold Peak teas and coffees, Honest Tea, innocent smoothies and juices, Minute Maid Juices, Powerade sports drinks, Simply Juices, smart water, Sprite, vitamin water and Zico Coconut Water.” They continually transform their portfolio from reducing sugar in the bottles to bringing innovative new products to the market. They are also working on a process that will reduce and save the environment. This is done by regenerating the water supply and recycling. The bottling partners employ more than seven hundred 7

Innovation Refers to the introduction of new creative ideas of change for better solutions that meet new objectives, needs, or existing markets. It is a talent of exploring new ideas for the purpose of gaining social or economic value. The skilled innovator carries the ability to think creatively, problem solving and has technical abilities. New products, technologies, or a business model is a new idea, creative thought, new imaginations in the form of a product or service. One area Coca-Cola is being innovative is the recently added Orange, No-Sugar as the newest flavor. It hit the shelves in Aussie, Australia. The No-Sugar brand is going out this winter. The culture already loves the flavored soda, and now one
