Advertisement is one of the effective tools of integrated marketing communication to emotionally motivate consumers to buy the products. It also has strong linkage with entertainment and the proliferation of media has blurred the distinguishing lines between advertisements and entertainment. The terminology for ‘actual buying behavior is that consumer in real sense purchase the product or services. (ZAIN-UL-ABIDEEN, S. SALEEM, 2011) In Australia, advertising is a $13 billion industry that needs a supply of suitably skilled employees. Over the years, advertising education has developed from vocational-based courses to degree courses across the country. Thus one can confidently state that advertising is not only a blooming industry with a lot of scope in the future but it is an essential element in the communication process whose purpose is to inform and attract the customers and also provides the companies with a competitive edge. (GAYLE F. KERR, DAVID WALLER, and CHARLES PATTI DECEMBER 1, 2009) .While entertainment and information about some product, which are given in advertising, are one of the main reasons of likeability of the product advertised. Entertainment actually helps in involvement of the viewer in the advertisement and product and it is obvious that if the advertiser could be able to create a positive image of the product through entertainment and information, it could get the involvement of the viewer or consumer, rapidly. (ABHILASHA MEHTA, 1994). The aim of marketing is to meet and satisfy target customer’s needs & wants. When it comes for conveying message to target audience the most effective tool of communication is Television, because it has the ability to combine visual and audio communication. So its help to convey message to audience more effectively. And when we talk about woman customers specifically then it’s very helpful because women are influenced by word of mouth. Women consumers have attraction of new inventive FMCG products. T.V. advertising have great impact on buying behavior of women customers. Before purchasing any product customers gathers information for their proper purchasing decision making activities henceforth advertising is mostly espoused to get information about FMCG products.
