Problem Statement: Some organisations tend to choose the wrong path in order to fulfil their organisational goals such as opt to establish NGOs for their personal benefits. The main problems which will be discussed in this project includes the extent of economic inequality and wrong intentions behind running non-profit organizations. For instance, United States continues to be the wealthiest country in the world, yet one in eight Americans which concludes to approximately 37 million people who live below poverty line
3 Issues in Corporate Social Responsibility in the country (Lathika International Film & Entertainment. 2006). Therefore, it is very important that wealthy people should keep contributing for the betterment of the society as they are the one’s who have the power to support any social cause and people would follow them if they are going on the right track. It will create an opportunity for common people who needs help in order to progress in their life and career. Also, if the corporates continue to help common people in right way, they will be able to make special place in the hearts of their customers and it will eventually help them in advertising their brand (Harjoto, M. A., & Salas, J. 2017). However, this research will also try to show how some corporates use charity organizations for just their own advantage and no one is aware about it. It will also provide information about the causes of wealth disparity that ultimately impacts quality of human life in the industrialized societies. Moreover, there is a big question that if corporate social service can help in decreasing the wealth inequality or not? In addition to the positive impacts of corporate social service, it is important to gain an understanding of how these corporate activities impact the corporates themselves in terms of public image and financial benefits such as tax rebates. For instance, many corporates can establish an NGO in which they would show that they are carrying out some sort of social service but ultimately, they are just helping themselves by securing substantial tax rebates (Procknow, G. 2012). So, if this research can help in identifying such wrong practices by corporates then it would be easy to distinguish the true and false corporate social services. There can be a high probability of such cases where various corporates are obtaining some sort of financial gain while carrying out important social service which is beneficial for the society. In this way, governments can ban such organizations which are using social service just for their own benefits and not providing any kind of help to the society. By doing this, common people would get to identify the real helping hands for the society. Also, it would help in increasing
