Task 04 - Identify different stakeholders in the case study and explain their influence and interest Stakeholders are, those individual groups that potentially have an interest in what the organization does. A stakeholder can be positively impacted by or cause an impact on the actions of a company. In the case study, the stakeholders are the owner, Suzy, all management and employees, customers and suppliers. As the owner, Suzy, makes the final decisions, she is the main stakeholder in the organisation. She has to make the right decisions for the company to ensure that the it makes a good profit. Suzy’s management team has a great impact in her company therefore if they don’t make the right decisions, if they don’t train the staff properly and if they oppress their role in any way then the company will undergo a loss. If the company suffers then the staff would not be paid properly, or they would loose their jobs. all the other employees have less power over important decisions but they have the same impact and interest over the company. Suzy’s customers have a huge impact on the organization. The customers would stay loyal and purchase regularly if they like the product and service. The suppliers have a huge interest on the organization because Suzy is their customer. If the suppliers produce goods in best quality this would influence the business in a positive way. On the other hand, if the suppliers produce goods in bad quality it would influence the business in a negative way and Suzy would most probably change her suppliers. Customers are also stakeholders in Suzy’s business. The sales would decrease if the customers don’t like the products and services provided by the business. Bank is another stakeholder who has an interest in the success of the business because they expect loan payments on time every month. College is another stakeholder in the organization. colleges provide students working placements ,a good experience they need and a good career route which would lead to developing well educated students for the society. This will lead to Suzy gaining well educated employees. Task 05 - Recommend an effective control strategy that applies to the case study and justify its suitability.
