The women of the Roman Empire had such biased livelihoods and they were viewed as controlling mothers, and wives for their husbands and kids which did not allow them to be women alone and had very little freedom, nor being able to express their personal feelings or talk about politics without having problems occur because women were looked down upon but they have the same senses as men do so why can’t they be treated equally. Women from the Roman Empire had a very underviewed lifestyle and were always held accountable to making sure their families including husbands were taken care of when around the house. The women were usually strict when around the home because that's where they had their little bit of control in there lives and they spent most of their time at the family's house as shown in document number one. When they had free time and very little of it they would express their thoughts about certain things such as politics and thoughts on how women were treated unfairly as it appeared in the picture on document six.
