The ideal environment will be in the board room in the branch that way the workers will be familiar with their surroundings and hopefully be relaxed and able toconcentrate during the meeting and what is going to be said. The board room is set away from the front office so no-one will be distracted from any back ground noise or customers coming in. I will ensure we have relief staff available to come in and deal with any front counter customers and phone calls, this will again take away anydistractions. To further reduce any distraction workers will be asked to turn phone off or onto silent during the meeting.4. The more the world grows and company’s become more diverse, language barriers will occur, this is not ideal when you have a multi-language workforce when it comes to having large group meeting, however when you’re trying to get your message across to the workforce during meetings and there are workers that do not all speak the same language or where workers do not speak English proficiently and it will cause a language barrier there are a few ways to overcome this. You could provide a translator that speaks that language and have them translate to the group during the same meeting or even hold an individual meeting to suit them. When there are multiple languages spoken in the workforce I would make allowances for this by providing a set of handouts to those workers affected in their respected languages, that way they can follow along when you are going through the meeting and will not feel left out because of the language barrier.5. The desired out come from the meeting would be to raise the morale in the workforce to allow them to not have to worry about their jobs and start concentrating when at work. If people are not concentrating at work not only does itdrop the production but also the quality of work. It could also result in more accidents in the workforce, so hopefully the meeting will return the performance to
the high standards that we have been accustomed to. Receiving anonymous feedback from the workforce would allow you to measure if the meeting you have had has made a difference to the morale in the company.6. When it comes to a motivation speaking I believe it is important to communicate to you audience in a spoken format rather than written. When you are speaking withthe audience you can express yourself more by putting your feelings and emotions into the speech, this can be as simple as the way you speak, the tone of your voice oreven the way that you stand, these non-verbal communications can say a lot to the audience.
