alleviate gender inequality in politics. These politicians also propose new and stricter laws on sexual harassment and femicide. Khatuna Kordzaia suggests establishing governmental supportive programs to protect vulnerable groups such as single mothers. However, only laws and special measures are not enough. One of the most important things, according to Tamar Kordzaia, is that women should speak up about their oppression with each other and publicly. These interviews provide valuable information through which we can take a look at the political career of two Georgian women in politics, their obstacles and viewpoints about possible solutions. The problems they have discussed are crucial and I agree to the most of the suggested solutions, especially teaching kids about discrimination at schools, because it is as this age that personal traits are developed, but I also have different views on some of the issues. Khatuna Kordzaia’s remark that there are no obstacles for women in the Republican party, which she concluded from her experience, seems a bit exaggeration, because there are examples of obstacles even in the Republican party. Another thing that I have a different opinion about is that Tamar Kordzaia mentions women’s better sense of solidarity as women are united by discrimination against them, based on which her call to action seems limited mostly to women. I think it is equally important and necessary that men, together with women, participate in these activities, because existing patriarchal system harms not only women but also many men. I don’t think that my sense of solidarity to oppressed women is less, because I am not directly oppressed. Nor can we question a sense of solidarity and protest of a progressive man who, in his childhood, has witnessed her mother being beaten by his father.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
