Ignorance becomes apparent as the teacher fails to realize and comprehend he is depositing knowledge himself through the existence of the pupil. Through the evolution of instructions and fulfilling the student’s needs, teachers are examples for the student to emulate. The teachers are recognized as inferior, trusted, respected, and worshipped for the knowledge the students believe they process.

The critical thinking needed by men and women in today’s society becomes unreachable with the analysis and concepts of the banking approach of education being utilized. The student and teacher must come to realize that this style of robotic type of learning with ultimately handicap the growth of our education in adult learning. The active adult student is more interested in completing curriculum requirements then inheriting the overall reality for the knowledge produced through lectures and interaction between the student and teacher.
