Vivo (2016) states that employees who work from home at least part of the time are often healthier, more engaged, less distracted, more productive and far cheaper to employ. This is very much true, although many organizations still frowns upon employees working from home with the logic that it prevents them from being as productive as if they are presence in the office. Employees working from how are still able to interact with colleagues and conduct extensive research on reporting very easily. The number of employees working at home has increased by 103 percent since 2005—2.8 percent of the workforce now work from home half of the time (Vivo, 2012). There is a concern, however, that the increase numbers of employees working from home is hurting morale as team members might not feel that it’s fair for them to be in the office while others are able to get compensated for work while being in the comfort of their home. As (Bharadwaj, 2015) mentioned, the people left in the office are feeling demoralized. They want to work at home too and they don’t see why they can’t.
