Academic Matters B. Family Matters C. Medical Matters §6. The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) shall be the Head of the Organization and of the Administration. The CEO shall have the following mandates: A. Determine the organization’s general strateg y and direction to achieve the organization’s short -term and long-term goals and mission. B. Establish and set the organization’s culture. C. Lead the Executive Officers and their respective Departments towards the proper execution of their mandates and functions. D. Lead the fellows in accordance with the Constitution. E. Responsible to oversee every aspect of the organization; including but not limited to its operations, marketing, public relations, finances, and regulatory compliance. F. Responsible to ensure optimal execution of the organization’s internal and external operations. G. Responsible for determining the approval or rejection of proposed projects or events. H. Through an Official Resolution, may create ad hoc Bureaus, which shall be attached under an Executive Department appropriate to its function and purpose, with the concurrence of the Department’s Head Officer. The Chairpersons heading the said Bureaus shall be appointed by the Head Officer. I. Through an Official Resolution, fill in vacancies in Offices by appointment after the application of the Rules of Succession, subject to the approval of the Executive Board.

J. Seek the advice to Honorary Fellows and/or the Advisory Bureau, on any business which, in his/her judgment, requires special expertise or insight. §7. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) shall assume the duties of the Chief Executive Officer should the office become vacant, or in his absence. The COO shall be the Head of The Department of Organizational Operations (DOO). Aligned with this, the COO shall have the following mandates: A. Responsible for the Operations Management and Archives of the Organization i. Lead the execution of plans and strategies developed by the Executive Board before, during, and after a particular event: including but not limited to equipment and resource logistics, supervision of human resources and implementation of the program timetable. ii. Obliged to evaluate the operations before, during, and after an event and suggest strategies to further improve future program procedures. iii. Oversees and ensures the progress, preparation and success of every event. iv. Responsible on controlling and stabilizing the occurrence of operational problems within the organization, both from internal administrative operations and external program operations. B. Become the Secretary and Historian of the Organization. i. Responsible for keeping the minutes of Assemblies and Meetings. ii. Provide a copy of the minutes for each Officer, necessary copies to Fellows, and keep a master file.
