The most common examples of cultural noise are values, language, non-verbal cues and customs. Every culture has its own language that it uses to communicate. When two people from different cultures meet to discuss business, they must use a language that both of them understand. For instance, I am an Indian studying in New Zealand. Even though I can speak English, my pronunciation of English words is different from that of New Zealanders. This can have negative impact when communicating with them as they may not understand some of the words while talking to them due to the difference in pronunciation. Culture determines specific values and beliefs that dictate what is considered acceptable in that particular culture.
