We will expose our competitor’s weaknesses by getting feedback from our members to see what we do better than their previous gyms and avoid the same mistakes. 1. Our gym is new so it takes time to build our client base. 2. We located in business area that the rent is expensive 3. Our membership fee is affordable but more toward high end of scale, this may limited some potential client base such as students. 4. Our gym floor is small that limited the maximum numbers of personal trainer we can growth. 5. I am new to business that marketing and operation will be challenging to me We wil improve our weakness by keep learning and control what we can control. Opportunities Threats 1. Try to use the most out of social media and online advertising. 2. We have two experience trainers including myself that we can have more trainers on board and expand our business. 3. There will be more corporate buildings in the coming 1-2 years that create more traffic. 4. We can engage and seek for sponsors to subsidise and sponsor our gym and we can advertise them at the same time. 5. We can run seminars or talks and invite non member to understand more about fitness and what we can offer to them. As a new business, I will keep building my networking and advertise our gym through various channels. We cannot miss any opputunities that comes up. 1. Competitors in the same area. They are all commercial gyms but still we for offering similar services. 2. Council licensing fees. 3. Our contract with the landlord is for 2 years, they can force us to move out. 4. Noise complaints from local businesses. 5. Lack of clients to generate the revenue and to operate the business at the start I will prevent the threats by providing the best result to our clients that they will spread the words for us and eventually help us to get more clients. We have measures to prevent the noise pollution to the minimum.
