This approach interprets family phenomenon, such as parenting styles in the internal dynamics, which included status relation, communication patterns, decision making, coping patterns, socialization, and the assessment of roles and communication process that frames for child- rearing.

7 Conceptual Framework The main thrust of this study was to find out the relationship of Facebook addiction to family interaction of grade 11 students of Our Lady of La Porteria Academy SY 2019-2020. Independent variables are addiction on Facebook. These Facebook addictions are the response variable which is observed and measure to determine the family interaction of the students which is the dependent variable.

9 Hypothesis 1. There is no significant relationship between Facebook addiction of the students and their interaction with their family. 2. There is a significant relationship between Facebook addiction of the students and their interaction with their family. Assumption Facebook addiction directly affects the interaction of the students to their family. Significance of the Study The purpose of the study is to discuss the relationship of Facebook Addiction to family interaction of the students. This research work will be used to many persons as it provides information about the Facebook Addiction: Its relationship to family interaction. Specifically, this study will be most beneficial to the following persons. Students. This study will give awareness to help them avoid the negative effects of Facebook in the relationship with family. Also, to avoid excessive using Facebook and to inform that face-to-face communication is more important and communicating online. Moreover, they can be enlightened and may practice using Facebook in a responsible way.
10 Teachers. Teachers will benefit from this study from the findings and its recommendations theory. They would be able to keep track and assess the student’s profile, also the relationship of them with their family. Parents. This study will help to guide their children of over use of Facebook. This will serve as a guide to parents on how to control their children in over use of Facebook. Also, it will help the parents to understand why their children are being addicted to Facebook. Future Researchers. This study serves as the source of information for further similar studies in line with family, students and effects of Facebook. This study is important for researchers as it is expected to serve as a guide to their future research. It also aims to contribute significantly to the study that includes using Facebook in the relationship of the students with their family. Also, it gives them the necessary recommendations in improving their study from the information and data being gathered by this research.
