Intercultural Communication Reflection Paper 5 Additionally, I would try to understand and identify the different problems that are encountered between the different cultures involved in my organization before efficiently conceptualizing the diversity strategies that are necessary for to realize success. It is evident that difficulties experienced in intercultural communication depend on the type of cultures involved. Therefore, it would be insensitive to adopt a strategy of one-fits-all diversity model. According to Martin and Nakayama, (2013), employees that share a similar culture will not find difficulties when it comes to thinking patterns, but the same cannot be said about in encounters that involve different cultures. Therefore, I would strive to understand the various cultures to serve my employees better and promote productivity in the workplace, and useful intercultural communication skills are crucial in understanding the cultures practiced by different groups of people in the company.
