If you want a team member to improve their performance, aleader has to criticize in a way that empowers the employee and doesn’t come across asan assault on who they are. Not being aware of this is a major weakness in Keller’sleadership. Keller must improve on this flaw, not only because it is critical for any leaderto be able to properly deliver criticism, but it is a concomitant to seeing improvementsand growth in your subordinates.
