d. Discussion: The study was done to show how pornography affects love and marital satisfaction in marriages. It appears through the study that pornography does in fact have a significant negative impact on love and marital satisfaction. In order to obtain a good healthy marriage, certain skills need to be acquired to promoting marital satisfaction and love in a relationship. The limitation to this study was the ages involved in the study, how long couples were married for and if pornography was an issue before marriage for some. Perry, S. L., & Davis, J. T. (2017). The study was to examine the correlation between pornography consumption and a greater likelihood for a romantic breakup in the future. Using a longitudinal study over the span of 6 years, the findings confirmed that early porn use, both in general and frequent viewing, predicted a higher likelihood of going through a romantic breakup within the 6 years of the study. Men showed more interest and had a higher frequency rate of watching porn than did women. A limitation is that the participants could have broken off their relationship for multiple reasons. In future studies, the study would have to elaborate more on the reason for breakup and the other factors that contributed to their break up. Another limitation was the type of pornography use and if they were viewing it with their partner or not.
