David expressed in song his feelings of reverence for the Lord's majesty and describes the qualities necessary to enter His presence. Only those who repent of their sins and live pure lives are worthy to enter His presence.

Before the time of Noah, Enoch establishes Zion and becomes a might man of faith, establishing the city of Zion. Zions consists of people who are as one in their feelings, thoughts and righteousness.

In approximately 730 b.c, the Lord, through Isaiah, called upon the disobedient people of Judah to forsake their evil ways and come to the Lord. Through His atoning blood, our serious sins can be completely forgiven.

Solomon and other wise Hebrews wrote thoughts and sayings called proverbs. Here we learn that the Lord will guide us in our decisions and direct us in living a righteous life.

Following his baptism by John the Baptist, and his forty day fast to begin his mortal ministry, Christ taught the disciples basic gospel principles. True followers of Christ are commanded to set a good example for other people.

When Joshua was called after Moses to lead the children of Israel, the Lord instructed him. As we meditate upon the scriptures and follow them, we will prosper and find happiness.

The kingdom of Judah did not want to listen to the Lord; they wanted to follow their own wisdom, Isaiah called them to repentance. Man cannot totally comprehend the thoughts and purposes of the Almighty.
