RBC are released to blood. 6. Non iron portion of hemoglobin is converted to biliverdin, then to bilirubin which enters blood and transport to liver. By liver cells it's secreted into small then large intestine. 7. Bacteria convers bilirubin into urobilinogen. Some of it is absorbed back to blood, converted into urobilin and excreted in urine. Most of urinobiligen is eliminated in the feces in the firm ofvstercobilin.
