|Bob Smillie||Bob Smillie (1917–37) is the grandson of a famous labor leader in Britain, and he is in the unit of Englishmen sent to the POUM by the Independent Labour Party, a British political party. Bob Smillie is a talented soldier who dies "an evil and meaningless death" from appendicitis while in prison for being a POUM member.|
