Estelle Younger than Garcin and Inez, Estelle Rigault is a vain, superficial, snobbish woman who has betrayed her husband, tormented her lover, and murdered her infant daughter. Having died of pneumonia, she believes at first she is damned by mistake. Read More
Florence Seduced away from her husband by Inez, young, guilt-ridden Florence killed herself and Inez by turning on the gas before the two went to sleep. Florence does not appear in the play.
Gomez A journalist in Brazil, Gomez and others rejected Garcin's pacifism and denounced him as a coward. Gomez does not appear in the play.
