Tragic Losses An evil king sends a killer after him, but Pericles finds true love elsewhere. Search for a Wife When Prince Pericles travels to find a wife, he finds a beautiful but evil woman from whom he must flee. He then finds and marries a good woman but is separated from her—apparently forever. Years later, his daughter disappears, too, but the family is reunited after great trials.
