    Beowulf- the story of a hero who comes to Denmark to slay the monster, Grendel, to spare the people of Denmark. Kills the monster, becomes a celebrated hero, angers Grendel's mother. Sets off to kill her, finds the body of Grendel and returns with his head. Lives to an old age until he is called to battle again, this time to battle a dragon. Knowing he will not survive the encounter due to his age, he fights to the death, dying due to the poisonous bite he sustains from the dragon.
