Oin | Oin is one of the dwarves on the quest and is Gloin's brother and a cousin to Balin and Dwalin. He and his brother are the group's fire tenders; they also provide torches to help in exploring Smaug's lair. |
Ori | Ori is one of the dwarves on the quest and is distantly related to Thorin. He survives the Battle of Five Armies. |
Roäc | Roäc is the chief of the ravens at Lonely Mountain; he alerts Thorin that Smaug has been killed. |
Thror | Thror is the grandfather of Thorin, and he is the dwarf who created the map the group uses to find the treasure. |
