Great Goblin The Great Goblin is an evil, oversized goblin ruler.
Kili Kili is one of the dwarves on the quest and is Thorin's nephew and Fili's brother. The brothers discover the cave in which the goblins capture the dwarves. The brothers perish in the Battle of Five Armies.
Master of Lake-town The Master of Lake-town is the human who governs the town and makes plans to rebuild the community after Smaug destroys it. When his greed for the treasure corrupts him, he is replaced by Bard the bowman.
Nori Nori is one of the dwarves on the quest and is distantly related to Thorin. He survives the Battle of Five Armies.
Old Thrush Old Thrush is a bird that overhears Bilbo describing Smaug's weak spot and relays the information to Bard, allowing the bowman to kill Smaug.
Oin Oin is one of the dwarves on the quest and is Gloin's brother and a cousin to Balin and Dwalin. He and his brother are the group's fire tenders; they also provide torches to help in exploring Smaug's lair.
Ori Ori is one of the dwarves on the quest and is distantly related to Thorin. He survives the Battle of Five Armies.
Roäc Roäc is the chief of the ravens at Lonely Mountain; he alerts Thorin that Smaug has been killed.
Thror Thror is the grandfather of Thorin, and he is the dwarf who created the map the group uses to find the treasure.
