Spelling Bee The Spelling Bee is a giant bee who speaks and spells words. Milo meets him in the market place in Dictionopolis and watches as he gets into a fight with the Humbug.
Terrible Trivium The Terrible Trivium is a demon with no face who assigns meaningless tasks to Milo when he meets him in the Mountains of Ignorance.
Undersecretary of Understanding The Undersecretary of Understanding is one of King Azaz's advisers, whom Milo meets in Dictionopolis.
Whether Man The Whether Man is the first person Milo meets in the Lands Beyond. He repeats everything three times.
