    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This course challenges you a lot, but will also give you so much useful information that anyone can use. This course is honestly one of my favorite course I've ever taken and Dr. Furrer has quickly become one of my most highly respected role models.

    Course highlights:

Some highlights of this course were definitely the Immunology section and Antibiotic section of this course. They were so intimidating and every one was worried about it. However, Furrer made it much easier to understand and a lot more fun than I would've thought.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Taking Anatomy and Physiology before this course will definitely help your understanding of the topics.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Furrer is the reason why this class is so enjoyable. Microbiology can be a hard concept to grasp, but Dr. Furrer creates an open atmosphere where it is okay to ask questions. He is lively and very passionate about this course which makes it enjoyable to sit in class. He allows his students to have hands on learning in lab and stimulates interest in the subject of microbiology which is why I loved this course so much.

    Course highlights:

I loved sitting in lecture because Dr. Furrer is very funny and entertaining to listen to. I learned a lot about antibiotics and immunity.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely pay attention in class and go to Dr. Furrer's office hours if you do not understand something.
