Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Awesome course with a broad overview of the many different financial markets and how they interact. Good entry level course to give you an overall economic feel for the varying markets.

    Course highlights:

The first half of the course dealt much with bonds and the correlated interest rates. Also learned much about the FED and how they affect money supply. This is very helpful for the rest of the material down the road for business students.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pretty tough material on the tests, but is nothing too challenging if you put in the work. I found the material was less dry than other economic classes and I was able to stay focused more than I was in other courses.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Thomas is a great instructor and if you're interested in learning about financial markets, this class can't be passed up!

    Course highlights:

In-depth analysis of financial markets and how they all work together. Thomas gives great real world knowledge to illustrate the ideas and concepts.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Honestly, just read and thoroughly analyze the notes. EVERYTHING on the exam is in the notes. For the first exam, I attended a single lecture, didn't open the book, and ended up with a 98%! Seriously, focus on the notes.
