    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Sometimes the lecture could be a little boring. I think that it all depends on who your professor is. Also, reading the books and articles given are always important since they'll more than likely be on the exam! Most importantly, going to lecture and taking notes is highly recommended.

    Course highlights:

There is so many interesting topics in the world of sociology that was taught. One thing that really caught my attention was when we learned about people of color and different marginalized groups and how society is constructed with those groups.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Three things...go to lecture, take notes, read all the readings!

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class to a potential student because there are multiple ways to receive points throughout the semester. So if you were to slip up once or twice you can make up for it in a different way. It is a great intro course and the professor I had was great and was always open with his office hours, some were even held on Sundays.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about humans and the way we socialize and interact with each other. It was interesting to take what I learned and take notice of my own life and how the people around me and I reacted. Overall the material was interesting and kept me engaged.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The advice I would give is to make sure that you stay on top of your work and keep up with all assignments and deadlines, because if you miss one assignment depending on what the assignment is worth it might be difficult to regain those points. Also go to class a lot, there are free days you can miss but there are few so use them wisely, the attendance points you acquire throughout the semester will help you greatly in the long run. Utilize the office hours as well, gaining a relationship with your professor can chance a B+ to an A- in the end.
